Dälek is a pure hip-hop band with atypical approach to musical base for their tracks. Musically, they can be characterized as something between My Bloody Valentine, Public Enemy, Einstürzende Neubauten and Death Grips. The first winner of the 10th anniversary edition of Radio_Head Awards is Michal Kaščák. Radio_FM and Denník N (Daily N) editorial staff decided to give him the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. The gala will be held on Thursday, March 14th, but the laureate of this award is being announced a week prior to the event. “What can I say? A week after concert in Bratislava, we will pay tribute to murdered journalist Ján Kuciak and his girlfriend, archeologist Martina Kušnírová, on Sunday evening (March 13th 2018) in Žilina and Prešov. They were born in these two regions (Ján came from Štiavnik near Žilina and Martina from Gregorovce near the metropolis of Šariš). Concert at Mariánske Square in Žilina will start at 6 PM and concert at the Main Street in Prešov an hour earlier. → read more

Our Michals are now in London at The Green Events & Innovations Conference. Today, Michal Kaščák will be participating in “Taking a Stand: Social Cohesion” panel. Together with gentlemen from Roskilde and 10 000 HOURS Foundation, Michal will be talking about why responsible environmental and societal behavior matter. The panel explores how to react to negative trends and how to take a stand for the right thing. Pohoda CEO than continues at ILMC (International Live Music Conference). On Thursday, he will be guest speaker at the panel focusing on artist fees that rise extremely quickly.
