An experimental electro-pop phenomenon from Malaysia – The Venopian Solitude also played within Pohoda acoustic session. The band has performed at Sonar, Fusion and Montreal RBMA festivals. Ten years ago, it was a solo project of an extremely productive artist performing under the pseudonym Suiko Takahara. At first she released a huge amount of her work on the website thesixtyone (approximately one EP per week), later on Bandcamp and Youtube. The Friday programme at Pohoda 2019 was opened by Ida Kelarová and the Čhavorenge ensemble in a unique collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic. Čhavorenge means "children" and that is the main focus of the project - the development of talented Roma children in the Czech and Slovak settlements is aimed this project. The project also inspired Andrea Papp, the head of the elementary school in Moldava, who is the founder of the Savorenge ensemble.
