The first new confirmed name for Pohoda 2021 is a hip-hop trio from Phoenix, Injury Reserve. Their innovative approach has been present in their work since their first mixtapes Cooler Colors and Live from the Dentist Office. According to The Quietus, the key to their success lies in the “blistering fusion of industrial experimentation a la Death Grips”. The fusion is a result of collaboration between Parker Corey and old-school southern rapper duo Ritchie With a T and Stepa J. Groggs. → read more

When we talk about fantastic "invisible" people in the background of culture in Slovakia, we mean our colleagues like Paula and many others. I am not a supporter of the over-involvement of the state in culture. However, if the state has ever had a chance to show that it is not just an impersonal institution, it is happening now. How the state handles the current situation will directly impact how we will look at it in the long run after the coronavirus pandemic is over. At the same time, it is a chance to understand how much, despite temporary isolation, we depend on each other. We have a chance to understand how invisible relationships work in individual activities of people. In fact, the festival is a miniature of a society where people meet from cleaners, temporary workers, technicians, artists to top experts in medicine, technology, meteorology, and construction. Pohoda is planned to take place during the period which, at this moment, is not subject to the current coronavirus-related measures and restrictions. The Daily Telegraph named the paragraph on our festival “Pohoda Party” and appreciated the friendly atmosphere, affordability, accessibility, as well as visual arts and debate alongside the music. Manchester Evening News and Sheerluxe.com have also reported on Pohoda in a similar manner. The Dutch Festileaks particularly praises an impressive collection of highly rated names. Pohoda was included again in the selection of the specialized portal Music Festival Wizard, where the author mentions that we are one of the most favourite festivals of their editor-in-chief.
