Another reconfirmed artist for Pohoda 2021 is the well-known techno DJ and producer Paula Temple. She released her debut Edge of Everything only after more than two decades on the scene, but according to reputable media, the waiting was definitely worth it. Resident Advisor wrote that this noisy, phantasmagoric techno sound specialist recorded the third best techno album of 2019. → read more

Paupière, the synthpop trio from Canadian Montreal will perform at Pohoda 2021. They enchanted our graphic artist and curator Tereza in Seoul, South Korea at the Zandari Festival. She said the following about the band: "Paupière was a pleasant surprise for me in a tiny club somewhere on one of Seoul's busy streets. The band was shy at first, their trembling and slight nervousness spread through the club. But it didn't take long and they absolutely enchanted us all with their sensuality... " → read more
Another addition to the Pohoda 2021 line-up is the Czech actor, singer and songwriter Tomáš Klus. From a junior European champion in modern pentathlon, he quickly turned into one of the most prominent figures in Czech popular music, as evidenced by hundreds of thousands of followers, millions of hearings and views of his songs, and awards such as Český slavík, Anděl, and Žebřík. Tomáš continues the Czech song writing tradition, while fans are especially attracted by catchy melodies and lyrics, in which he does sometimes comments on the state of society, e.g. in the songs “ZmrZlým”, “Pánu bohu do oken”, “JdeVoZem” or “Chátrám”. He dedicated the latter to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, and subsequently went on a tour around schools entitled “Memory of Songs”. Last year, he also called for a boycott of the Czech Prime Minister and the media he owned, and he also spoke out against him at A Million Moments for Democracy demonstrations. → read more
The Parisian band Acid Arab already stole our hearts away at Pohoda 2017. They play Eastern music on analogue rhythmic and bass boxes and create oriental acid, which is a fusion of cold techno, emotions and drama-charged orient. According to Pitchfork, their album Acid Arab Collections “is among the most enthusiastic collections of any sort of dance music to come out in recent memory.” The BBC presenter and DJ Gilles Petterson’s favourites released a great album Musique de France at the end of 2016 and last year they added a new release Jdid with the band's new member, keyboardist Kenzi Bourras. They will also present their new line-up and new music at the Trenčín airport in 2021. → read more

Another new name of Pohoda 2021 is the British punk rock band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. The band is known for their high-energy performances, and their victory at the Kerrang! Awards in the Spirit of Punk category just confirmed that. They have also been nominated for the Heavy Music Awards (Best UK Band) and last yearʼs Kerrang! Awards (Best British Live Act). A year ago, they released End of Suffering, which is a 40-minute rockʼnʼrollercoaster that was included in the top 5 of the British charts. According to DIY, the album is “a bold, brave effort that’ll continue to see them rise through the rock ranks.” → read more
The twenty-fourth edition of Pohoda is postponed by a year. Pohoda 2020 will thus not take place in its traditional form, it will be replaced by Pohoda in the Air. We will see one another at the Trenčín airport on 8 – 10 July, 2021. All tickets from this year remain valid. At the same time, we guarantee those who need it a full refund of the ticket. We will miss the amazing atmosphere of the live gathering, as well as the positive energy that remains at the airport after the festival. However, we are optimists and therefore we believe that we will make up for the missed with even greater joy in the future. → read more
