For old mobile phones rings bell

Pack your festival stuff the E way: Efficiently and Ecologically. If your necessary equipment also includes your no longer necessary mobile phones, the latter can help you win tickets for the next edition of Pohoda. Plus, you will also support the ecological approach of the Pohoda Festival and the long-term initiative of the Orange company. The mobile carrier aims to collect as many mobiles as possible in order to promote to the biggest extent possible the good things happening, which, in this case, is the ecological disposal of electric waste and the financial support for the NGO Deťom s rakovinou (For Kids with Cancer) amounting 50 Euro cents for each received unnecessary mobile phone.  The idea is also supported by the band Puding pani Elvisovej, who, especially for this activity, have changed the lyrics of their well-known hit Young Chemists also this year. Listen to songs, sing, and bring your old mobiles to the stand next to the Optimistan Nadácie Orange. → read more

Changes in Pohoda 2019 line-up

Changes in Pohoda 2019 line-up

Sofi Tukker show cancellation has brought some changes to Pohoda 2019 line-up. Their planned spot will be taken by Donny Benét and his band. This caused some additional moves, namely, of the artists Akua Naru, Raptor Koch and Emmanuel Jal & Nyaruach as well as of the debate “Café Europe: Gentle Velvet?” We also wanted to comply with the wish of our two biggest stars in Saturday’s program and swapped their slots. Liam Gallagher will play at 8:30 PM already and Charlotte Gainsbourg will be closing the program on the main stage. All the updates are available for you to see in the Line-up and Timeline sections on our website. → read more

Pohoda f(lovers) 2019 – let’s create a garden in the centre of the festival

Pohoda f(lovers) 2019 – let’s create a garden in the centre of the festival

We used to plant sunflowers and other flowers in the heart of our festival since 2010, the original idea was a big bouquet aimed to heaven after the tragedy in 2009. Later, the sunflower became one of the symbols of Pohoda. Due to tightened rules of the airport operation, we have been unable to plant the flower meadow since last year. Therefore, we invite everyone to bring their own flowers in a flowerpot and, when leaving the airport, to take whichever flower they like. Several tens of flowers were brought to the site last years and we cannot wait to see the beauties you’ll bring this time. → read more
