Dear children and dear parents. Do you miss pogoing together? Do you want to see various groups from all over the world and magician...? Once upon a time, under the castle of Matúš Čák, between Váh and Inovec, a funny magician will use magic to create animals out of balloons; Songs about characters will be sung by the one who wrote them. Fairy tales will be read by real actors; Teachers will teach children using toys; Children will produce musical instruments and play them as a famous band; there will be children in orchestras, choirs, and ensembles; all day around just games and clever toys playing during the biggest summer camping and comfort throughout the day, at the beginning of the holiday. And the best behaving one will be able to go to see Prodigy at night, or at least they will sing him a nice lullaby in the tent. ;) → read more
Branči Kováč, aka Vec, will appear at the twentieth Pohoda, this time at mixing console. His domain is not just the microphone, and he made it clear already in 2001, when he made it to the DMC World Finals in London as a DJ. Midi Lidi are slowly but surely becoming a traditional Pohoda band. It is due to the exceptional dance expression of Petr Marek and the fact that he “likes to cook”. The female colleagues from the agency present the same ultimatum each year: they would not depart for the airport without Midi Lidi. They and the rest of the agency value the detachment in the work of this five-member trio and the abundant curls of Prokop Holoubek. Agency people aimed to extend Tomino Kelarʼs stay at Pohoda so they unambiguously asked him to hold the post of stage manager of the Visegrad stage. We will also examine the veracity of their lyrics at the festival – we strongly believe that Koller will not be slayed by cholera and Prodigy “will come with their parents”. → read more
Longital Suita, the project of the band Longital with string quartet arrangements of Slavo Solovic, had a huge success at the sold-out premiere of the festival Convergences. The same was true also at their next appearance at the event for homeless people Doma Dobre. Dano Salontay said: “The concert of the project at Pohoda, that will be celebrating its birthday, will be the culmination of fifteen-year work of our band that has released nine albums and played at a thousand concerts in twelve European countries, USA, and Canada”. → read more

Lenka Dusilová is a multiple winner of the Angel Award issued by the Czech Academy of Popular Music in the categories of the Singer of the Year and the Album of the Year. She was active in the bands Sluníčko, Lucie, and Čechomor. The next stage in her career is the project Baromantika, which brings electronics, tribal beats, and experienced jazz musicians in her personal songwriting. Lenka Dusilová will perform with Baromantika also at Pohoda. → read more
Public Art Festival Contest winners will build the very first Slovak minaret at Pohoda. The minaret is aimed to symbolize the open society and the authors would like to express solidarity with those who have been affected by migration crisis. → read more
Bjarki is an Icelandic techno DJ who publishes under Nina Kravizʼs label Trip. He became famous with the track “I Wanna Go Bang”, which was one of the most played tune of last summer on the dance scene.
