Pohoda f(lovers) 2019 – let’s create a garden in the centre of the festival

We used to plant sunflowers and other flowers in the heart of our festival since 2010, the original idea was a big bouquet aimed to heaven after the tragedy in 2009. Later, the sunflower became one of the symbols of Pohoda. Due to tightened rules of the airport operation, we have been unable to plant the flower meadow since last year. Therefore, we invite everyone to bring their own flowers in a flowerpot and, when leaving the airport, to take whichever flower they like. Several tens of flowers were brought to the site last years and we cannot wait to see the beauties you’ll bring this time. → read more

Poetry café at Pohoda 2019

For the fifth year, Julius Meinl will bring the best of their coffee and Viennese café culture to the unique Poetry Café at Pohoda. The bar will offer a darker roasted blend Vienna XVI with hazelnut aftertaste and a fruity refreshing taste in the form of light roasted Fruity Red Door. There will also be a refreshing Cold Brew lemonade and Ice Tea Tea on the Rocks offered. We would like to invite you to the café on Friday and Saturday between 10:00 am – 11:00 am when you’ll be able to take part in Poetry Hour – paying for your coffee with an inspirational poem of yours. Csángálló at Pohoda 2019

The Hungarian band Csángálló, who will please fans of the Pannonian Basin world music, will make NAY tanečný dom dance as well. Their work combines folk music from Gyimes and Csángó regions with the Balkanian temperament. They reach an entirely new sound thanks to improvisation and the end result is a kind of psychedelic experience. Their performance is not just a virtuoso show, but there is also consciousness of the origin of their music.   → read more
