Performed in the BBC Last Night of the Proms, her music was broadcast to 40 million people. She's a former composer-in-residence with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and her music featured in the last year's PRADA Spring/Summer fashion campaign. Her projects include Concerto for Beatboxer and Orchestra as well as a piece for five symphony orchestras in different corners of the country, connected by satellite. After the first two critically acclaimed EPs, the Scottish innovator and composer, Anna Meredith, is about to release a keenly awaited debut Varmints and then will hit the road. London-based duo Public Service Broadcasting released their debut in 2013. Last year, they won Progressive Music Awards in the category of best anthem (“Gagarin”). Willgoose and Wrigglesworth combine electronic instruments with guitar, banjo and drums. According to The Guardian, their music “slips between krautrock, synth-pop and cinematic post-rock.” In their own words (with tongue firmly in cheek), they want to “teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future.” They are a great unusual band and we're looking forward to seeing them in Trenčín... → read more

This short summary characterizes Andy's genre range that has been blending the best of hip hop, indie rock and punk for more than a decade. Tricot are returning...! On Saturday, 19 March, Slovenian hardcore freaks It's Everyone Else, and Slovak post rock The Ills will play with them in A4 at the Pohoda party. Sonido Gallo Negro is a Mexican band of 9 members playing Peruvian cumbia, which is cumbia mingled with other genres which you probably have not heard of yet (huayno, sonidero cumbia, and boogaloo). Ten days ago, at Ment Festival, we entered club Menza pri Koritu and were left speechless.
