Immediately after the concert, Sigur Rós said they had the best sound of their current tour. The manager of the Prodigy sent an e-mail stating it has been the best show this summer. Also the agent of Mbongwana Star, Saul Williams, and Esther Rada received a very content feedback from the artists. According to him, Pohoda is one of the top if not the best European festival. You don't have to risk having alcohol residue. In the tent city Opatovce there is a tent with three breathalysers and more than 5000 replacable mouthpieces. This service is open to visitors until the end of the festival. We would like to remind you that shuttle runs by demand on Sunday from 8:00 to 14:00. A group of philharmonics from Ostrava presented several compositions by the most famous Czech composers in quite an emotive performance. The audience could enjoy Dvořák, Smetana, or Leoš Janáček. The conductor, Heiko Mathias Förster from Germany, was first introduced to our visitors during a meeting with the press and the whole orchestra also played on our music terrace. → read more

The captivating hot jazz and sweet dance music performed by Bratislava Hot Serenaders and Milan Lasica opened the music part of the twentieth Pohoda. On the stage, our most famous big band officially released their new album “Ja vodku rád pijem”. They were followed vibrant instrumental mix of genres by Gogol Bordello. They accelerated from zero to hundred in the very first tact, and did not slow down until the last chorus. On Thursday, most people were brought under the Urpiner Stage by PJ Harvey. → read more

Silent Disco in the MEET THE GIANTS zone will featuring great names of the Czech and Slovak music production, as well as traditional Dutch DJs. There will be just one loud concert on Friday 8th July 2016, from 11:00 pm to 12.00 am, and it will be a music dialogue between VEC and two representatives if the Bigg Boss label, Vladimír 518 and DJ Mike Trafik. A visual show of Lunchmeat studio will be on all evenings; two supports will bear 60 lighting heads, which will take care of an unforgettable visual experience. Debates with top-class music professionals such as director of the biggest showcase festival in Europe – Eurosonic – or band booker for Brighton's The Great Escape, editor in chief of the professional music magazine IQ as well as director of Lollapalooza Berlin will be part of the festival program again this year. In Listening Session – a two-hour long debate at Radioactive zone – they will discuss if Slovak musicians can become a success worldwide.
