The Legendary Bazzookas Bus Will Park at Pohoda Once Again
Wherever the Dutch ska-rock band Bazzookas go, they bring an infectious joy for music and incredible energy. Their iconic school bus needs no introduction to the Pohoda crowd, and we’re delighted that our Dutch friends are coming to get us dancing at Trenčín Airport again this year.

Bazzookas describe their formation in 2009 as the musical equivalent of discovering gunpowder. We’ve had the chance to experience this explosion of positive energy firsthand—regularly since 2016. These eight band members are now practically as much at home at Pohoda as they are in the Netherlands. They’ve played on the big stage at Trenčín Airport more than once, but their true magic happens inside their legendary bus—crammed in with everyone who’s come to experience Pohoda to the fullest.
A band that brings their own stage wherever they go, and plays irresistible ska, disco, and afrobeat. Their vocals in Dutch and English are accompanied by guitars, drums, keys, trumpet, and trombone. And as they say themselves, “...when Bazzookas start playing, everyone dances.” We have no doubt that it will be the same this July at Pohoda.
Once again, their legendary moving stage will host exclusive secret gigs. In past years, the rooftop of the Bazzookas bus hosted secret gigs from bands like Le Payaco, Bez ladu a skladu, and Chiki liki tu-a. Who will surprise you this year?
