For the third consecutive year, we have a selection of top acts from the area picked by Adam Dekan and Matwe ready for those from the second group. If the airport had a dark, industrial underground, that would be a place where this music would be played. Saténové ruky have become a phenomenon since their recent foundation. Musicians in their forties recorded a fantastic generation album, for which they recently won two Radio_Head Awards statuettes from the young Rádio FM: they won them for the debut of the year and the album of the year (critics' award). They themselves refer to their music as primitive rock, yet it would be quite a challenge to find better lyrics on the contemporary scene. At the end of last year, they released new song “Dala mi niečo do pitia”. After the great concert at last yearʼs Pohoda, Saténové ruky will play also at the 21st edition of our festival.    → read more

In cooperation with Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (Slovak railways), our environmental partner, we will dispatch a special festival express train from Košice to Bratislava. The capacity of each train will be 350 seats. The train arriving from East Slovakia will also have a party coach with a DJ. Besides the great British punk names Slaves and Sleaford Mods, we will also have Slovak cult punk-rock band Slobodná Európa. The authors of the hits such as “Podvod”, “Unavený a zničený”, and “Analýza dokázala hovno” have been amusing the audience for nearly three decades. A month ago, they released their vinyl debut “Pakáreň”. Currently they do not give many concerts, so we are very excited to have them play at the 21st edition of Pohoda. → read more

The Ľudové Mladistvá project brings together the elements of folklore, jazz, and classical and energetic modern music. Within less than a year of cooperation, these young top musicians have been awarded The Discovery of the Year Award at Radio_Head Awards, 3 awards at New Faces of Slovak Jazz, and in April they won the International JazzFruit Prize in Prague. Their energetic non-traditional form of folk songs will also be played at Pohoda 2017. → read more

Born Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, Princess Nokia is a young hip-hop and R&B artist from New York City. At her beginnings, she performed as Wavy Spice, and later called herself Destiny. A breakthrough in her career came last year, when, thanks to songs such as “Tomboy”, “Kitana”, and “Brujas”, she won many fans and has received millions of views on YouTube and Spotify.  → read more

The 21st Pohoda will have one of our most favourite concert bands, Para. Last autumn, they went on another great tour and released a double-single with songs “Linda” and “Žiadne slová, iba činy”.
