The Legendary Partnership Between Pohoda Festival and Zlatý Bažant Returns
Two iconic Slovak brands are joining forces once again, as we renew our partnership with Zlatý Bažant after a ten-year break. This comeback isn’t just a formal confirmation of cooperation – it marks a new chapter built on trust, mutual respect, and shared values and vision. Thanks to this partnership, visitors to Pohoda 2025 can look forward to two beer zones and a wide selection of beers, ranging from classic lagers, tank beer and ciders to special editions and craft beers.

This isn’t simply a return to something familiar from the past – it’s the beginning of a new era of collaboration between two brands that have played a significant role in shaping Slovak summers and the cultural landscape. “We’re excited that Pohoda and Zlatý Bažant are teaming up once again. Zlatý Bažant was with us from the very first year of the festival, and we went on to work together for 14 years, and during that time the festival grew into what it is today. We truly value the support Zlatý Bažant gives to culture in Slovakia – it’s admirable and incredibly important. And we’re happy to continue showcasing quality Slovak beer at Pohoda,” says festival director Michal Kaščák of the rekindled partnership.
“This partnership is meaningful because it’s not just about ‘beer at a festival’. It’s a return that actually matters. It shows that even a strong brand can remain authentic when its intentions are genuine,” says Wendy Van Sante, Marketing Director at HEINEKEN Slovensko. As she puts it: “Zlatý Bažant is returning as a partner that understands Pohoda is more than just a festival – it’s a community, an atmosphere, and a cultural attitude.”
Pohoda and Zlatý Bažant: The Story Continues
Zlatý Bažant has been part of Pohoda Festival since the very beginning in 1997. Now, after a decade-long break, it’s making a comeback. “I believe it’s our shared values that make this partnership even more meaningful today than it was in the past. Zlatý Bažant and Pohoda are two brands united by what really matters: respect for people, for our local culture, and for what’s genuine and ours. Both brands are strongly connected to Slovakia,” highlights Radoslava Anguš, Senior Brand Manager for Zlatý Bažant.
What Will This Partnership Bring to Pohoda 2025 Visitors?
One of the key highlights of this renewed partnership is the return of the main stage name – the Zlatý Bažant Stage. The programme on this stage remains as strong and diverse as ever, with the main headliners of Pohoda 2025 set to perform there. Festival goers can expect a rich selection of beer, from classic lagers, tank beer and ciders to special brews and craft beer. They can also look forward to two special beer zones. “This will be a space that offers the ultimate beer experience. As Slovakia’s top beer brand, we prioritise serving quality and delivering the kind of taste experience Zlatý Bažant deserves. Every detail in the zone will be designed to ensure people enjoy their beer just as it’s meant to taste,” adds Radoslava Anguš.
