Last night, last parking lots and seats in special festival trains sold out. In co-operation with ZSSK (Slovak railways), we have added 50 seats for the train departing from Košice and 50 seats for the train from Bratislava. As to the means of transport for arriving at the festival, we recommend using the shared transport #spolunapohodu via our webparty, any public transport (there are festival shuttle buses operating between the Trenčín bus & train stations and the festival) or our special buses. Minaret (from the Arabic word manarah, manarat) means a lamp, beacon. The installation has the ambition to present the symbol of an open society as well as solidarity in the light of events related to the refugee crisis. In cooperation with Slovak farmers, we will prepare a gastro specialty, so called farmer’s breakfast. It will take place on Friday and Saturday from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. in a tent in front of the Street Food Zone. Simple and tasty self-produced breakfast will be sold by small farmers and producers. Vegans, people preferring meat products as well as those with intolerances will find homemade delicacies there. Producers will sell vegan and gluten-free pastries, breakfast muesli, beef and vegetable broth, meat products, sausages with eggs or drinks from their own fruit juices. → read more

There are last 100 parking spots available for sale - after that, parking places will be sold out. Therefore, we recommend you to use shared transportion to the festival (#spolunapohodu), or any other public transportation (there is a regular shuttle service from the bus and train station in Trenčín) or our special buses. The flag is based on the 1969 proposal by J. McConnell designed to celebrate the Earth Day. It has a round hole in the place where the Earth image should be. The sky that can be seen in the cutout resembles the Earth observed from the space. Instead of the unchanging picture, the flag is always different depending on the weather, reminding us of the fragility of the natural systems, which we, as mandkind, have disturbed. → read more
The first ecumenical mass took place at Pohoda in 2010, partly as a response to the collapse of the tent. We were actually planning on doing it a long time before, and Anton Srholec helped us make it true. The tenth ecumenical mass at Pohoda will be dedicated to all those who were impacted by the misfortune in 2009, it will be a remembrance of both Martin Kašák and Nikolka Kapková, and also a reflection of people who have been part of Pohoda: António, Juraj Kušnierik, and Marián Varga. The meditations will be presented by Anna Polcková, Daniel Pastirčák, and Róbert Bezák. The theme will be the liberation of a woman, the story of Mary and Martha. Mary sits among the disciples (where she “is not supposed to”), she takes on the male disciple role, while Martha serves disciples and performs the “traditional” role of a woman. → read more
