What is Pohoda on the Ground?
Pohoda on the Ground is a series of one-day festivals taking place at the airport in Trenčín. The festivals will take place on 7 – 11 July.
The festival is being organised with music clubs. Where will their programme take place? Directly in the clubs or also at the airport?
The whole programme will take place at the Trenčín airport, the clubs will have stages prepared where their programme will be held.
What is the capacity of Pohoda on the Ground?
The capacity of each festival in the Pohoda on the Ground series is 1,000 people, so far including the organizing team and performers.
How many tickets have been released?
750.
If the anti-pandemic measures loosen, will the capacity be increased?
If it is possible to count with 1,000 people excluding the performers and staff, the capacity will be increased. If that happens, we will announce the sale of a new batch of tickets in due course. If the capacity increases over 1,000 people, we will consider the increase so that the character of the event is maintained.
Are tickets for children or juniors, PWD and PWD-A ID holders being sold?
Yes. The ticket price for people with disabilities is €49, PWD-A (person with disability with an assistant) is for €59. Children up to and including 6 years of age are admitted free of charge, the ticket price for juniors from 7 to 17 year of age is €49.
Are parking tickets on sale as well?

Will it be possible to stay overnight at the airport?
Yes.
Is there a charge for camping?
No. Regular camping is included in the ticket price, but "car camping" – a place where you can pitch your tent next to your car – will be sold.
Is it possible to buy a Tent-Inn?

Will you be selling Chill Village cabins and tents?
No.
Will there be a separate children's camp and silent camp?
No.
Are caravan parking spots being sold?
Yes.
Will it be possible to connect caravans to water and electricity?

What is the festival schedule?
The festival will open its gates at 11:00 a.m. every day, the programme will start at 3:00 p.m. and will end with the traditional welcoming of the sun at 06:00 a.m. the following morning. It will be necessary to leave the festival site by 10.00 a.m.
Are multi-day tickets for the festival being sold?
No.
Can I buy tickets for more days?
Yes, but we prefer new people to come for each day of the festival. If someone buys tickets for multiple days, they will have to leave the site after each day and re-enter through the festival gates and undergo all the procedures in accordance with the Regional Public Health Authority regulations in place at the time. Leaving the premises includes packing up the tent and leaving with the car.
If I have a ticket for more days, do I have to pack up my tent after each day?
Yes. We will require the festival site to be empty prior to the arrival of new attenders. This restriction may be adjusted in the event of significant easing of the anti-epidemic measures.
If I have a ticket for multiple days, do I have to re-park my car as well?
Yes, the car park will need to remain empty after each day, it will also be necessary to purchase a new parking ticket. This restriction may be adjusted in the event of significant easing of the anti-epidemic measures.
Can I leave and re-enter the festival during its course?
Yes, but we do not recommend this, we would appreciate people staying at the festival throughout the whole time and leaving the site when they wish to end the festival for themselves, or by 10:00 a.m.
Where will the festival centre be located?
The festival will be held on the site of the main stage of the classic Pohoda. Almost all the festival stages will be in this area.
Where will the camping and car camping be located?
Camping will be in the centre of the festival on the grassy area "around the sunflowers". Car camping will also be in the central part of the festival.
Will it be possible to leave the car camping at any time?
Yes, but only when clearly necessary. We would appreciate if you limit any movement and only go by car when you decide to end the festival for yourself, leaving no later than 10.00 a.m.
Where will the festival entrance be?
Entry will be possible only from one part of the airport – from Trenčín.
How will it be possible to get to the festival by car?
There will be only one entrance, the usual car entrance will not be used this year. The entrance for cars will be located from the direction of the aviation school. More information will be in the pre-festival instructions and on the festival map, which will be released by the end of June at the latest.
Will there be any special trains dispatched?
No. We are working on dispatching special buses with fully pre-tested passengers. We will post info about the buses by 15 June.

Will there be testing at the entrance?
Yes.
How will the testing take place?
We will have 7 test sites set up, some for pedestrians, some for people arriving by car. At the entrance, your details will be paired with your ticket and you will be able to enter the festival after getting a negative test result. We are equipped to comfortably test the full capacity of the festival. We also want to spread out the arrival at the festival and make it as quick as possible, therefore registration and the possibility to time the testing will be offered.
What will happen between taking the test and getting into the festival?
There will be a generous waiting area to wait for the test result. It is possible that the result will come back as you move from the testing and registration area to the festival gates. You will receive the result by text message. At the same time, your ticket to the festival will be "unblocked" after getting a negative test result.
Will it be necessary to register for testing?
It will be encouraged – to reduce the waiting time at the entrance. Registration will not be compulsory, but will greatly speed up entry for everyone, so it is highly recommended.
Will it be possible to make a test appointment for a specific time?
Yes, we want to distribute the entry burden that way.
Will a test taken outside the festival gates be accepted?
Yes, as long as it is taken on the day of the festival and at an official test site.
Will vaccinated people be tested as well?
For now we are prepared to fully test festival goers, if it is not necessary to test vaccinated people they will be allowed to enter without taking a test.
Will people who have overcome Covid within the six-month period be granted entry without taking a test?
For now, we are ready to fully test festival goers. If it is not necessary to test people who have overcome covid in the six months prior to the festival, they will be allowed to enter without taking a test. This will be coordinated with the Regional Public Health Authority in Trenčín.
Will children be tested as well?
Yes, everyone from the age of seven upwards will be tested– with the occasional exceptions as stated above (vaccinated, after overcoming covid)
What if I test positive – will my ticket be refunded?
Yes.
What if one person in the car crew tests positive?
If even one person from the car crew tests positive, nobody from that car will be allowed to enter. We therefore recommend that you only travel in the company of people you are sure are negative, or we recommend that you get tested before you leave.
If someone in the car crew tests positive and therefore the whole crew will not be able to enter, will everyone's tickets be refunded?

What if the situation worsens and Pohoda on the Ground cannot take place? Will the tickets be refunded?

Will people be registered at the entrance?
Yes, this is our obligation in the current set-up of measures in place for mass events.
Will testing upon leaving the event take place?

Will I be able to leave the site during the festival and come back?
Yes, but we do not recommend it, we would appreciate if people left the site only when they want to end the festival for themselves, or before 10.00 a.m.
Will staff, stallholders, artists and other people from backstage be tested as well?

Will I be able to get tested during the festival if I get a feeling I'm not OK?

Will it be necessary to wear a mask or respirator during the festival?
