Xenia Rubinos
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Xenia Rubinos plays with her fantastic voice and sounds produced down from the ground. Syncopated beats and distorted sound pieces are put together into original rhythmic tracks with a distinctive melody. Therefore, 7.8 points by Pitchfork are no surprise for her debut album Magic Trix.

Laura Snapes of Pitchfork says there are 4 basic components of her music: Xeniaʼs electric smoky voice, keys with an expressive drive resembling electric guitar, a lover of syncope – drummer Mark Buccelli, and funk bassist Adam Minkoff. Xenia ideally mixes all her essential musical influences, i.e. R & B, soul, hip-hop, and Caribbean rhythms. Her second album Black Terry Cat is to be released on the 3rd June. A few days ago, she published its first single “Lonely Lover”. The website Spin called it a gourmet delicacy worth a Michelin star. Xenia Rubinos is coming to Pohoda 2016 to show the best meaning of the word fusion.
