Vojdi at Pohoda 2019

The Vojdi trio, originating in Prešov, had a great introduction already at Pohoda 2018. In January this year, they made dance De Drie Gezusters, one of the biggest clubs in the centre of Groningen, at the Pinguin Radio Showcase. Their work is characterized by varied compositions with frequent motif changes and unconventional rhythmics. Approaching the music with ease, they resemble the local legendary band Chiki Liki Tu-a, but in terms of sound, they are particularly influenced by the French new wave of eclectic bands such as Aquaserge and Moodoid. They are currently working on videos and a new album, which is to be released this autumn; however, they agreed to play some of the songs in the premiere at Pohoda 2019 in only one month.
