Nové divadlo: Emperors new clothes

Emperorʼs new clothes is a baroque crazy comedy for people from 3 to 100 years of age on the motifs of world-famous Hans Christian Andresenʼs stories. The Nové divadlo theatre was mixing up fairy tales until one new one was created. In this piece for children, the audience will hear about Emperorʼs new clothes, the Little Match Girl, and the Snow Queen. A replica of the Baroque theatre will rise right on the stage in front of the audience, with all its particularities: portal columns, a red curtain, painted changing ceilings and horizons, perfect magic lighting, smoke, and replicas of historical costumes. The story tells us that truth and love always prevail over evil and hatred... All that narrated in a language that children can understand. Fun and wisdom are guaranteed.

And here, from the red sock heʼd nudged from under the blanket, he sees his thumb sticking out. Well, in fact, these are honey-cake generals who tell him incredible stories. Children will listen to fairy tales from the cult book delivered by the actors in a humorous way, and will be invited to an art workshop after the performance.

Braňo Jobus: The Waste Collection Site

For many people, the waste problem ends when they throw it into the trash. In the new book of Braňo Jobus, this is the point where everything just begins. Stories about what happens to a toilet paper roll or to an aluminium can, and how a cellophane and aluminium foil wandered the world. Thanks to the wise compote that read an article in a discarded newspaper about how recycling works, the Waste Phantom will be born. Also with his help, the waste collection site will finally start to function as it should.

CirKus-Kus: Merry Circus School

What does it look like in a school where the clowns do teaching? It must all be a circus! Things flying in the air, people upside down... A funny interactive performance, a buffoonery without words that will make children laugh hard and learn a few circus tricks. The Merry Circus School will feature also kids that had attended a circus workshop on that day.
