The opening act of the Bastille concert will be Lewis Capaldi

The opening act of the Bastille concert will be one of the greatest discoveries of the British scene, Lewis Capaldi. Lewis began playing guitar when he was nine; three years later, he performed unofficially in Glasgow clubs. At the end of March 2017, he released his single “Bruises”, which instantly went viral in streaming services. He was the fastest to gain 25 million hearings on Spotify out of all artists without a publisher ever. In October last year, he released EP “Bloom” that featured the cooperation with Malay (producer of artists such as Frank Ocean, John Legend, and Alicia Keys); the BBC then included him in BBC Musicʼs Sound of 2018, as well as BBC Radioʼs 1 Brit List. Lewis also won the Scottish Alternative Music Awards and the Scottish Music Awards. Only 22 years old, this musician with an extraordinary voice composes songs at a running pace and wins fans all over the world even faster. We believe that he will speak to many new ones also on February 20 at the Refinery Gallery.
