The Bažant Pohoda festival 2015 was concluded by an ecumenical service

Daniel Patirčák, Anka Polcková, Juraj Jordan Doval, and their guests talked about the meaning of suffering, about freewill, and about solidarity with those who suffer.

12. July 2015

The reason for the theme being the suffering of Job was the 600th anniversary of the execution of Jan Hus, as well as the current situation of refugees fleeing from war-torn countries. As a part of the service, there were music intermezzos and a short theatre play “A Game of Chess between Satan and God”. A special appearance was made by Karel Schwarzenberg, who, along with the ministers, offered bread to the attendees at the end of the service. Anton Srholec did not attend the service this year due to health issues but he interceded to people through the video call.
