Thank you for the For Pohoda Collection
The strong wave of support that followed Pohoda 2024 gave us the strength to push through the most challenging moments and decide to continue the festival in the future. The For Pohoda collection truly took us by surprise – first with the speed at which it was launched, and later with its scale and the incredible level of interest it attracted. We are deeply grateful for every show of solidarity, every contribution, and for the heartfelt messages and wishes. Our thanks also go to the organisers of the collection and the Donio.sk platform.

We stand firm in our decision to end the festival early, as we believe it was the only responsible choice – the safety of everyone at Pohoda remains our top priority. We have also been open about the economic challenges affecting the cultural sector and their impact on our festival. Nevertheless, we have worked hard to find solutions, although this has led to higher financial costs for Pohoda 2024.
We have been deeply moved by the empathy people have shown us, both during and after the festival – whether through concerts for Pohoda, words of support, or this collection. We recognise that the extraordinary incident at the festival has affected many lives, with several people still dealing with various health issues. Our team keeps them in our thoughts every day, and we sincerely hope they will overcome their difficulties soon and once again be able to enjoy life’s joys, including those connected with the arts. In this light, we recognise how essential it is to have a community to lean on in difficult times. We are so grateful that Pohoda has such a community.
The collection, which was supported by 4,484 donors via the Donio.sk platform, will help us cover many unforeseen costs related to addressing the situation as well as responsibly fulfilling our commitments to artists, suppliers, and all those who worked on Pohoda 2024. We can say with confidence that it is also thanks to this initiative that the story of Pohoda, which began in 1997, will continue to grow and evolve.
