Project Building Bridges at Pohoda 2024

The Norwegian-Slovak project Building Bridges was established in 2022 and is still going strong with Nils Økland (Hardanger fiddle), Jozef Lupták (cello), Boris Lenko (accordion), Branislav Dugovič (clarinet), Robert Ragan (double bass), Åsne Valland Nordli (NO, vocals), and Gabriela Kováčiková (vocals).

Thanks to newfound musical friendships, the notion of creating an album with additional material emerged after the concert experiences of Building Bridges. This album will be released in early summer 2024. Legendary Norwegian producer Audun Strype is working on the album, with Daniel Salontay from the band Longital as co-producer.As the name suggests, the project builds bridges through music. Their work is personal, warm and full of contrasts.
