Pohoda Festival is a part of the Green Europe Experience project.
Together with three other festivals, Pohoda Festival is a part of the Green Europe Experience (GEX) project. Our festivals are known for supporting creativity. What we also need to take into account when implementing our ideas is the limited availability of resources our planet has to offer. We will be working on this project for three years. During this time, we will create, test and assess new environmental approaches with focus on sustainable festival food and scenography.

The project is a Living Lab operating in the field of green solutions with its members following the 7R principles (Rethink, Reduce, Repair, Reuse, Refurbish, Recycle, Recover) and the model “Think Globally, Act Locally, Change Collectively”. Apart from Pohoda, Green Europe Experience’s members are Boom Festival (Portugal), Dour Festival (Belgium), We Love Green Festival (France) and two non-profit organizations: A Greener Festival and GO Group. The project is supported by the European Commission and we are glad that we can announce its launch on Europe Day.
