Performance Box vol. 2 at Pohoda 2019

HALA, in cooperation with Tansart Communication, organizes Performance Box 2 at the Pohoda Festival 2019, which is a follow-up to last year's activity, when 8 performers from Asia presented themselves at the space of the box. The HALA civic association was founded in December 2013 with the vision of creating a specific space within the city of Trenčín designed to present contemporary visual art. During the five years, the main project of the association was a six-day symposium of contemporary art HALA, situated in dilapidated industrial brown-field premises. Since 2017, the program has been conceived as public art in the public space of the city of Trenčín. The programme's symposium focuses on multi-genre installations and performances in an effort to showcase the diversity of contemporary site-specific art and its creators in order to try to educate the Trenčín public through current forms of art.

Transart Communication Festival was founded in 1988, reflecting current local and world events on contemporary performative and multimedia art.
