Nia Archives, the drum & bass and jungle queen, at Pohoda 2024
British producer, songwriter, singer, and DJ, Nia Archives has emerged as one of the finest from the broken beat scene in recent years. Her work follows in the footsteps of artists like Roni Size, Shy FX, and DJ Die, but brings a completely fresh approach.

In her few years on the scene, she's garnered numerous nominations and wins at prestigious awards shows. She won the NME BandLab Award for Best Producer, Best Electronic/Dance Act at the MOBO Awards, BBC Introducing made her the Artist of the Year, she secured the Breakthrough Producer at the DJ Mag Awards, and came third in the BBC Sound of 2023. All the awards and music media agree that this is an artist to keep an eye on.
With her first EP, Headz Gone West (2021), she already received a lot of positive reviews, but with her second EP, Forbidden Feelingz (2022), she confirmed that she is indeed the queen of modern jungle and drum & bass.
Nia is also a great remixer, as shown by her remix of Fred again's "leavemealone" or the song "Off Wiv Ya Headz," an edit of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll."
And if you catch her live performances, you will notice she thoroughly enjoys them together with her audience.
Her debut album, Silence Is Loud, drops on 12 April, and it's bound to be a banger.
