Milan Lasica & Bratislava Hot Serenaders—the most wanted time travel machine in the country

Hot Jazz alebo Sweet and Dance Music, genres older than a radical hipsterʼs bike, will be presented at Pohoda in their full beauty by the top-level big band Bratislava Hot Serenaders, Juraj Bartoš, and Milan Lasica. Thus music came to Europe from America at the end of 20s. The inspiration for the musicians of the orchestra was František Krištof Veselý, whose songs are already an integral part of the bandʼs concerts. They have been through a number of awards, festivals, and albums, too. Perhaps the most successful ones (Ja som optimista – “I am an optimist”, Celý svet sa mračí – “The whole world frowns”, and Keď zastal čas – “When the time stopped”) were recorded with Milan Lasica. It was with him that they played a great concert also on the main stage of Pohoda in 2013 and we will see them together again at the 20th edition of our festival.
