Michael Szatmary at Pohoda 2024

Michael Szatmary is a top performer in the Czech and Slovak stand-up scene. He specialises in observational and absurd humour about everyday life. He jokes about almost everything, but especially about himself. He has loved music since childhood, founding his first band as a kid, using a tennis racket instead of a guitar. Later, inspired by his love for Depeche Mode and electronic music, he switched to synthesisers. In 2024, he released his long-awaited album NIGHTDRIVE. It was long-awaited mainly because he had been waiting for it himself for a long time :).

This year at Pohoda, Michael will perform three times: showcasing his own music, performing stand-up comedy in the Smoke-Free Zone 18+, and DJing at Ayvens Roller Disco.
