Karpatskí pastieri in Café Kušnierik
"I am still a Carpathian shepherd ...," Dominik Tatarka wrote to Silvester Krčméry in a letter in 1986. And that is how a group from the Little Carpathians area found their name, Karpatskí pastieri. They used to belong among Slovak bands that stood out due to their approach that could be compared, for example, to the Hungarian Másfél. Karpatskí pastieri got the band together after many years and they’ve been working on a new album. They’ll also play at Pohoda. Café Kušnierik is an ideal stage for them – not only for linking literature and music in the name itself, but also because one of the centres of the band is Artforum in Pezinok.
