How to get to Pohoda
06. July 2023
On foot/bike
On foot or by bike you can reach both gates of the festival (GATE O – from Opatovce and GATE B – from Biskupice/Nozdrkovce). Bicycle racks are available at both gates (bicycles, as well as scooters and skateboards, are not allowed on the festival grounds and can only be used by festival staff with special visible signage).
Taxi
You can also get to both festival gates by a taxi. However, the taxi drop-off point for visitors leaving the festival is located only at GATE B (pedestrian entrance). Pohoda has contracted taxi companies with fixed prices from Trenčín, Trenčianske Teplice, Nová Dubnica, Dubnica nad Váhom and other towns. You can find an overview of the prices and contact information of the contracted taxis at this link.
Shuttle bus
This year there will also be a shuttle bus from the bus/train station to the airport and back. It will run from Wednesday, July 5, to Sunday, July 9. Ticket price is €1.50, the exact departure times and a list of stops can be found here.
Suburban transport
A special suburban bus will run from Trenčianske Teplice directly to the festival site and back. It will run once a day from Thursday in the direction of the airport and once a day at night from the festival (not on Wednesday). Exact departure times can be found at this link. When you purchase your ticket, which you can buy in our shop, you are guaranteed a seat. You can also use the bus for a one-way trip to or from the festival (the one-way fare is €8 and is payable in cash only to the driver), but only if seating or standing room is available. If you do not have a ticket and want a ride, you can get on and off at any stop, as long as there is a space available. At the airport, the bus is parked at the GATE B.
Long distance bus/train
Public transportation to the festival gates is also available from more distant locations. Slovak Lines, in cooperation with Pohoda, have prepared a bus service from Bratislava, Piešt'any, Trnava, Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, Prievidza from Wednesday to Friday and back from Pohoda on Sunday. You can find the exact dates and departure places here, as well as the possibility to buy a ticket.
If you prefer to travel by train, the Slovak Railway Company will increase the number of express trains from Košice and Bratislava to Trenčín on Thursday and Friday, from where you can take the aforementioned shuttle bus directly to the festival.
Arrival by car
Pohoda encourages the use of environmentally friendly means of transport, including carpooling. You can find fellow passengers on our webparty under the hashtag #spolunapohodu.
If you decide to travel by car, please note that the main access route to the festival between Drietoma and Mníchová Lehota will be closed due to a bridge renovation. For this reason, we are opening the festival gates one day earlier - on Wednesday , in order to distribute the traffic load in Trenčin and the surrounding area. If you are coming from Košice, take the Beckov exit from the highway (you can also take a detour through Trenčín, but there is a risk of traffic jams and delays). If you are coming from Bratislava, take exit no. 95 – Lúka. Both exits are marked with signs "ZJAZD FESTIVAL". To shorten your journey and avoid traffic jams, we recommend using GPS navigation.
