FVLCRVM to Premiere a Special Audiovisual Show at Pohoda

The electronic multitalent FVLCRVM, one of the biggest stars of the domestic dance scene, will return to Trenčín Airport. His new audiovisual show will feature special guests on stage and include fresh tracks from his upcoming album.

26. February 2025

FVLCRVM, aka Pišta Kráľovič, was born at a time of hope in a post-Soviet future and belongs to the first generation with unrestricted access to Western music. His artistic vision was shaped by 90s music videos, burned CDs, and local subcultures, many of which weren’t too keen on blending different genres. Partly because of this, it was important for him to blur the line between the underground and pop. During his teenage years, he was even kicked out of a church band because of it.

Slovak music fans first got to know him as a member of the math/prog rock trio The Unique—later known as Nvmeri. After going solo, he became one of Slovakia’s most forward-thinking and in-demand producers. His debut EP Attentioncore won "Record of the Year" in the Electronic Music category at the Radio_Head Awards. His tracks have also been featured in playlists on the legendary American station KEXP—championed by DJ Kevin Cole—and by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6 Music.

Currently, he’s nominated for a Radio_Head Award once again, this time for his latest EP Aimés in the Electronic Music category (Record of the Year 2024). And in late May, we can expect brand-new tracks and a full album release.

FVLCRVM’s live sets effortlessly blend the spontaneity and playfulness of live concerts with the energy he discovered on club nights after years of devout living. His skills as an instrumentalist, DJ, and motion designer come together in self-created visuals that enhance his music, turning every performance into an unforgettable experience. His audiovisual shows are crafted in collaboration with lighting designer Jozef Čabo, who regularly works with major festivals and alternative theatres abroad.

"FVLCRVM's live show is a must-see. Pišta Kráľovič is possibly the most interesting figure on the Slovak music scene. His music, his visual style, his stage presence, all together it's one big fun party, which everybody leaves bathed in sweat. FVLCRVM is simply a world-class artist and deserves big stages. I can't wait!" adds Paula Poštolková from the festival Pohoda’s team.
