Fruzsina Szép’s lovely words during the presentation of an award to our Michal

Award for excellence and passion was presented to Michal by the last year's winner of this award, Fruzsina Szép. We admit that the director of the Lollapalooza Berlin festival and the former Sziget artistic director is a great Pohoda fan and our team’s friend. It was all the lovelier that Michal could accept this prestigious award from her hands. Before presenting him the award itself, she dedicated him very nice words. The person who is going to receive this award is truly the DNS of his Festival and a strong, sweet and charismatic leader in the European festival family, in the music industry and in cultural society.

Also because of the fact that he is demonstrating in every thing that he does how great things happen when the spirit and the heart of a person meets creativity, humanity, braveness, determination and love.

Such human beings in our industry are really making a change and contribute to the highly romantic thought that many of us have in this room - to make the world a better place with the power and the possibilities that are given to us.

In fact if I could, I would love to clone him and take him to many places so he can spread his positive energy in the world where such an open & democratic mindset is really missing.

He never closes his eyes infront of a problem in society and
puts it right in the middle of his festival to create social awareness and the importance for peace and freedom. He is a brave fighter and his heart is surrounded by sunflowers.

That´s why this Award is a perfect match with a highly respected colleague, a unique human being and most importantly a brother and a dear dear friend that I respect and love a lot.
