Farmer’s report: sunflowers to bloom at Pohoda again
The agricultural division of our agency is kept busy. The team of agronomists led by Monika Satková decided that two years of no oil plants were enough for the airport soil to rest, so after a two-year episode of summer annuals, the heart of our festival will be beautified by sunflowers again.

Vladimír Jurčák, the boss of plant production, manually spaded the site (it took him only a few weeks; he was tired and destroyed at the end but slimmer and happier, too), then, as a reward, he used a cultivator to cultivate it and fertilised it with organic fertilizer, which are sheep droppings processed into a slightly different shape. Late last week, he finished the second phase by planting, and at the same time, he was appointed the manager of the irrigation system. Our experts calculated the flowering time so, that it should occur during the festival. Fingers crossed for them and us as well!
