Tante Elze was originally a solo project of the musician, singer, and producer Veronika Seppová. Two years ago, she caught public attention with her song When the days in the programme Demovnica at Radio_FM. Late last year, she recorded her debut EP Keď nevieš, kam z konopí. The five tracks contained in the album are a sort of musical diary of the author. Veronika herself describes her music as “pop for private festive moments". "Pop", however, when performed by Tante Elze, is composed as film music, that both members of the band used to do in the past. Veronika, as a composition student at the Church Conservatory, introduces an element of classical music into her songs. Piano and electronics are occasionally accompanied with a string trio at their performances. Veronika currently is a vocalist of The Global Optimistic project and is also a lead singer of the producer Jimmy Pé. Tante Elze have already played at festivals Waves and Pohoda. They will offer the visitors of the Evening for the Attentive a pleasant conclusion of the programme in the bookstore Martinus.sk.
