The carefully planned dramaturgy offers a rich and nourishing experience, divided into daytime and nighttime sessions. During the day, it offers delicacies of both traditional and contemporary dance culture. Participants can also enjoy popular and innovative choreographies like Clip Dance (Morcheeba - Rome wasn't built in a day) or Flitre v rytme (Glitter in Rhythm), created exclusively for each edition of the festival. Experience this unique and fulfilling dance "menu" once again during the day at Pohoda in the Nay Dance House.

Spišské pár(i)ky - Párové tance zo Spiša / Spiš Couples - Pair dances from Spiš
Robo Sabol is a distinguished dancer and teacher. He is also the recent winner of the national competition and showcase of solo dancers in folk dance, Šaffova ostroha. He is a member of the dance group BARDFA, which has performed at our festival with great acclaim. Additionally, he is a popular and sought-after dance instructor in his native region of Bardejov. His workshop will not be limited to couples, so don't miss this delightful exploration of dances from Spiš. His dancing will be accompanied by the exceptional musical group NogaBand featuring Michal Noga.

Obedná salsa / Lunch Salsa
Mário Lopéz is a talented choreographer and a successful professional dance master who has been passionately dedicated to Latin American Salsa for over 20 years, achieving top placements in national and international dance competitions. Together with his ladies' dance group SABROSURA, he will show you how to enjoy Salsa at lunchtime. It promises to be a real treat.

Clip dance: Morcheeba / Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day
Simona Machovičová is a professional and renowned dancer who has performed alongside some of the world's greatest music and dance icons. Having danced all over the globe, we are thrilled that she is joining us at Pohoda – the heart of feasting and dancing during the weekend. The clip dance will be especially fun this year :), and it will prepare you for the Morcheeba concert.

Rómske horehronské fajNOTY - Rómske spevy a tance z Horehronia / Romani Horehronie Dance Delights - Roma songs and dances from Horehronie
We are delighted to include unique dance workshops based on field source research in the festival's programme. Experience true dance delights firsthand with professional dance masters, choreographers, and artistic movement coaches Agáta Krausová and Slavomír Ondejka. An authentic Horehronie musical and vocal flavour will be provided by the exceptional Roma family band POKOŠOVCI. Thanks to their distinctive and convincing interpretative playing style, combined with multipart singing of Horehronie and a unique repertoire of Roma songs, they have also earned recognition on the World Music Chart Europe. The workshop also features a "goosebump-inducing" singing session with Jana Ambrózová, promising a full satiation of body and soul.

Swingové laskonky / Swing Meringues
Energetic, wild, cheerful, and refined—such are the Charleston and Collegiate Shag that will be exclusively demonstrated and taught by the talented couple Klára Kubriczká Přecechtělová and Ján Kubriczký. With years dedicated to dance instruction, they promise a Saturday morning at Pohoda filled with swing music and immortal African-American dances from the golden era. This energy boost is sure to sweeten your morning.

Ako sa stať kvasinkou / How to become a yeast
What it's like to be a yeast, to live in a yeast culture and go through fermentation, will be experienced at the NAY Tanečný dom on Saturday at 11:30. After the workshop, you can join us for a collaborative fermentation during the Fermentation Movement performance that will be part of this year's Visual Stage program.

Šarišská div(oč)ina - Živelné párové tance zo Šariša / Šariš Wildness - Psssionate couple dances from Šariš
Lunchtime offers the perfect chance to savour something juicy, nutritious, and hearty. Under the baton of the exceptional Radoslav Kertis, a connoisseur dedicated to exploring Eastern Slovak musical traditions, a vibrant and fast-paced musical selection awaits on the dance floor. Instructor Ján Michálik will accompany them with graceful dance moves. An experience not to be missed.

Flitre v rytme: Menu / Glitter in Rhythm: Menu
Duo Ladislav Cmorej and Petra Polnišová consistently delivers creatively sharp variations filled with humour and personal charm. As the Slovak saying goes, "Love goes through the stomach," and with both being renowned gourmets, this year's workshop promises a grand feast with an original "MENU" full of delightful surprises. A special guest appearance will also be featured this year. Don't miss this unique opportunity to stay in the rhythm of Pohoda.

TANCE tRADOVANCE - Temperamentné tance z Gemera a Liptov / DANCES JOYANCES - Temperamental dances from Gemer and Liptov
If you're a regular at Pohoda, especially at the Nay Dance House, you're likely familiar with the husband and wife duo František and Barbora Morong. They've been part of it since 2006, when this unique dance stage was first set up at our airport. For newcomers, be sure to come and see if and how traditional culture intertwines with the world of Pohoda. Accompanied by the passionate folk music of Muzička from Bratislava – who are aging like fine wine – they will showcase the charm of Gemer and Liptov dances that have worn out the shoes of many past generations.
