Concert against violence – in memory of Marek Kaluža

On September 11th, it’s going to be one year since Marek Kaluža from Vrbové was brutally murdered. He was beaten to death by two extremists near the local high school. This event is yet another proof that extremism is on the rise and its acceptance in society can lead to tragedy that can happen to anyone, anywhere. Concert against Violence will be a solemn commemoration of a tragedy that has a serious social issue behind it.

Guest speakers will be Fedor Gál, Andrej Bán, brothers Andrej and Branislav Jobus and Michal Kaščák, hosted by Martin Staňo. A discussion on extremism and violence is prepared for students of local high school the next day.
