After 14 amazing years, our cooperation with Zlatý Bažant has come to an end
Festival brand Pohoda and beer brand Zlatý Bažant joined forces 14 years ago in order to build a festival of European significance and world-class quality in Slovakia. Right from the start of their cooperation in 2002, they managed to meet their goal and both brands confirmed the leadership position in their respective fields in Slovakia. For this amazing partnership, a big thank you goes to HEINEKEN Slovakia Company and their flagship Zlatý Bažant. After 14 years, we decided to bring our partnership to an end. This also means that the 20th edition of festival changes its name to Pohoda 2016.

Ronald Lupták, group brand manager for premium brands at HEINEKEN Slovakia Company says: “We’re very proud of these fourteen successful years of high-quality cooperation at Pohoda Festival. However, the time has come to move forward and we’re really glad that we can hand the festival over in the best shape. We would like to wish the Festival, all its partners and fans the best of luck in future editions.”
Festival CEO Michal Kaščák: “It was also thanks to Zlatý Bažant that our festival-goers had a chance to see many big names of music scene at the festival. HEINEKEN Slovakia also brought several beer-related (Bažant Pub, Pohostinstvo) or cultural attractions (Bažant Cinematograph) to festival. We’re glad that we were partners for such a long time; it was an amazing partnership. We would like to thank the company as well as its representatives and wish them all the best.”
