60 seconds with Pohoda 2018 ©daviddoros
Dávid Doroš put together a special compilation of Pohoda 2018 artist photos. He took pictures of them in Artist Village with the use of a special camera obscura technique and black-and-white film. Project name is derived from the exposure time: 60 seconds. His photos were awarded also within the Slovak Press Photo contest.

60 sekúnd s/60 seconds with are portraits of Pohoda 2018 artists created with the use of a camera obscura technique, exposure time of 60 seconds and 4x5”(10x12,5cm) black-and-white film. In this technique, a photo is created with a black box which has a little whole in it and a flat black-and-white film. Exposure time for taking a picture of the object is 60 seconds. The main idea is not to just show representational faces of the performers, but to capture their character and personality from the inside by means of showing to what degree they can stand still during the process of photo-taking: this is indicated by the level of blurriness of the photo. The photo shoot is also kind of a site specific event which connects the photographed with the photographer since it makes them focus on that 60-second long moment. The author of the project is Dávid Doroš, who also develops, scans and prints the photos out.
