As part of Sounds of Ukraine (SOU) you can look forward to three DJs mixing up a proper dnb set on Saturday night. Representing SOU will be TheLena, J.ZeF and Dub Head from Ukraine. Each brings a unique flavour to their dnb sets, so this joint mix will definitely be worth listening to.
TheLena fell in love with drum and bass from the first time she heard it and when you listen to her sets you'll get the feeling that her heart is beating at 174 bpm. Her mixes range from soulful liquid to heavy bass.
J.ZeF has been part of the Ukrainian dnb scene for over 10 years. He is the founder of the Collab DJ School, where he teaches aspiring DJs. He regularly performs at the biggest dnb events and festivals in Western Ukraine, playing alongside artists such as Nu:Tone, Keeno, Seba and Skeptical.
Originally from Kyiv, Dub Head currently lives in England where he continues to push the boundaries of dnb while staying true to his signature production style. He has released his work on the Sofa Sound and Dispatch labels.
Sounds of Ukraine is an initiative founded by dnb lovers with the aim of promoting positive dnb culture and creating a quality platform for artists, not only from Ukraine, where they have the opportunity to grow, showcase their talent, but also build a community grounded in strong ethics, acceptance and empathy. The founding team of SOU consists of artists, DJs and event organisers.
