Adam Dragun: Prcat
"Prcat" is a hybrid form combining elements of video documentary and lecture, capturing the micro-drama in simple conversations between a grandson and his grandparents. Director and writer Adam Dragun shares his fascination with the dissolution of boundaries between the private and public spheres, exploring taboo topics. But what he wants to create is not controversy, but the unexpected joy of overcoming conventions and social barriers.
Adam Dragun, a theatre director, performer, and lyricist, is currently studying alternative theatre at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His work straddles the line between reality and fiction, sincerity and manipulation. Collaborating with theatres in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, he also lends his voice as a singer in the band Berlin Manson.
His work has been showcased at festivals like Kiosk in Žilina, Bazaar in Prague, and the cultural centre PAKT in Bratislava.
