Tshegue

Tshegue

Nicolas Dacunha – a child from Parisian suburbs and Kinshasa native Faty Sy Savanet combine everything that formed them personally, culturally as well as musically in project Tshegue. The result is an original mix of tribal singing, rhythms and garage rock. Dance music with dominating guitars, percussion instruments and drums with the original Faty’s vocals on top of it all. As NPR describes in the review of their debut EP Survivor: “every note is of dynamic, pulsing jubilation.” Contagious afropunk of Tshegue is coming to make Pohoda 2018 visitors dance.
