SPOR: Jon Gooch getting back to roots

DJ and producer Jon Gooch, better known under the stage names SPOR or Feed Me, is a representative of the contemporary UK club dance music. He rose to fame for his drum & bass and dubstep remixes of tracks by well-known artists of various genres. This, year, his long-awaited album Caligo came out. According to Muzoic portal, “This is a classic example of the drive, which wants to crank up the volume in the car.”

Jon Gooch made his debute as SPOR in 2006. Three years later, he started producing electro-house club music as Feed Me. Under this moniker, he made the well-known remixes for artists such as Chase & Status, Nero and Gorillaz. SPOR’s resurrection in 2015 represents a very personal project of the young producer. Jon Gooch describes it as follows: “I am able to really represent what’s in my mind with total clarity, so if it’s anything but the best Spor release I have done I will be disappointed.” Caligo sound carries the ideal attributes of drum & bass music: dark, menacing and mysterious.
