President awarded Michal Kaščák

President Andrej Kiska named twenty recipients of the highest civilian honor. One of the recipients was Michal Kaščák, who was presented The Ľudovít Štúr Order for defending the democracy and its development; for defending the human rights and freedoms and for development of culture.

Apart from this civilian award, this Wednesday at the European Festival Awards gala, another award, this time decided by music professionals, might go to Michal: Award for Excellence and Passion. Pohoda is shortlisted in three additional categories: Best Line-up, Best Promoter and Best Middle Sized Festival.
