Pohoda in student clubs with Anton Maskeliade
Before Anton Maskeliade presents his skills at Bažant Pohoda, the Moscow “gesture wizard” will come to Slovak student clubs. After a short break, Pohoda continues in clubs with another interesting name of this year’s line-up.
09. April 2015
This time we will visit Trnavaʼs Art Club (on Tuesday, 14 April) and Elam in Bratislavaʼs Mlynska Dolina (on Thursday, 16 April). We are going to view the film Pohoda 2014 and have a discussion with the founder of the festival Michal Kaščák. Anton Maskeliadeʼs performance will be followed by the swing set DJ Drappenmadchenfeller.
Young Russian artist Anton Maskeliade is one of the first musicians in the world who creates and edits music and visuals with gesture control technology called “leap motion”. Thanks to this, he got the nickname “gesture wizard”. Maskeliadeʼs genre is somewhere between electronics and contemporary pop. He began his career in the American programme OneBeat intended for the most talented young artists. His debut Subtract the Silence of Myself was released in Russia last year, resulting in the attention of media such as The Guardian, and nomination for “The Steppenwolf Award”, which promotes the creation of innovative and independent artists.
Visitors of the clubs will be able to purchase tickets to Bažant Pohoda 2015, as well as T-shirts, bags, badges, and other merchandise. For each purchased ticket to the festival, the buyer will receive a bonus from Pohoda Shop in the form of a T-shirt.
