An important part of the Family Park programme is workshops. Here, we again offer activities focused on movement, music, games, and skills development.

Dance with baby in the scarf
The Dance with baby in a scarf workshop is for mums who carry their baby in a scarf or ergonomic carrier. Every little baby likes to fall asleep at its mom´s heart in a regular rocking rhythm. And every baby will enjoy the carrying at your dance together. The course contains the basics of gypsy dances and yoga.

Pregnancy yoga
You can explore moving with your baby in your belly at pregnancy yoga classes. Physiotherapist Andrea Višňovcová has been with yoga since 2012. She has been giving lectures on pregnancy yoga for four years now and gives also mum-yoga classes.

Faculty of Education at Comenius University: Tent full of music
Students of the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Education of Comenius University prepared a number of musical activities. You can make a musical instrument in their tent and play other instruments there. Every hour, there will be a big orchestra with children as musicians.

Montessori activities
The Montessori Club in Trenčín brings to children activities and aids that can help naturally develop their skills and knowledge. The Club follows the principle of “respect and be respected” and applies the knowledge and practices of Montessori educational methodology. One of its main ideas is that a child is a creator of himself: all children have a unique personality.

CirKus-Kus
CirKus-Kus is the first Slovak school of modern circus. It leads children to healthy exercise, creativity, and resourcefulness. It focuses to teach children and make them perform gymnastics, juggling, acrobatics, balance, and theatre. CirKus-Kus will bring a workshop for everyone who wants to try out circus pieces.

Pottery circle
Spin the circle together with the potters and try the traditional craft. In the pottery playroom, children can get acquainted with pottery and make their own clay bowl or jug.

Shepherd games
The children of ensemble Kornička prepared under the leadership of Jozef Ďuráči the Shepherd games workshop. Through them, they'll take you back in time and show you how our grandparents used to play.

Knitting workshop
For those interested in knitting, there will be lots of yarn and enthusiastic knitting lecturers. Thanks to the workshop, you can discover the charm of handcrafting and create together a Pohoda blanket.

EKOhračky (ECOtoys)
You will learn everything about special toys in the EKOhračky tent and there will also be wax crayons and colours to paint them. You will make linocuts here and colour your bags with Pohoda motives.

EDUdrama
The favourite classes of drama education will once again allow the children to “give the life a dry try”. In a fun and playful way, they will learn from the different situations and challenges they will encounter later in life.
