Pohoda Deň_FM with a record number of visitors
Bažant Pohoda Deň_FM - a record number of people, the best line-up, a football tournament full of passion, and a fabulous atmosphere. A big thank you to all those who participated in this spectacular day. Due to the weather, we had to stay indoors – and we could not influence that, but it is great to know that the weather cannot influence real fans.

In the early morning, the band of Michal – Bez ladu a skladu served a portion of caffeine to our visitors and listeners. After that, Purist played their DJ set. Just before noon, we offered a summary of this yearʼs festival programme to the present media representatives, where we announced 28 other performers. The most significant change related to electronic music. For serious reasons, Kaytranada cancelled his summer performances. However, we were able to find an equally enjoyable compensation, as in Space Arena SLSP, the Scottish DJ and producer Hudson Mohawke, also known from the duo TNGHT, will make you not want to stop dancing. Among other interesting names, we confirmed the band Le Payaco, a concert of Sendreiovci with orchestra, the ensembles Čercheňora, the electroswing of the duo Malalata, the project Komara, Transmusic Comp., the childrenʼs opera Stručné dejiny vesmíru (A brief history of the universe), and Swingless Jazz Ensemble. We also announced the performers at Radio(active zone) _FM and the artists who will reign on our new club Visegrad stage (see complete list at end of article).
In the afternoon, we announced the winners of the Public Art Festival Contest, whose creative designs will enrich our festival grounds and will be published on our web site shortly. Not only was the Bažant Pohoda team pleased with the tracks of the Košice band Kurkus. Jimmy Pé played an afternoon portion of electronics, and a pleasant acoustic and visual element was brought in the Studio no. 5 by the sisters Kery and Ela Kisové aka Genius Locci. At the same time organizers, musicians and visitors measured their skills in table football.
Performances of Vec & Škrupo and Para transformed the atmosphere of the Chamber Studio into the airport apron in Trenčín. The highlight of the evening was the concert of the young Englishman William Doyle known by his stage name as East India Youth. After the performance, he did not run to the hotel but among people, as all Slovak artists did yesterday.
