Pivobrana at Pohoda 2017
After last yearʼs premiere, Urpiner and its Pivobrana are coming also to the upcoming Pohoda. Urpiner won the Pivný čin roka award (Beer Act of the Year) for the project that presented beer specials from the portfolio of small craft breweries.

Banskobystrický pivovar (Banská Bystrica brewery), as one of the founding members of the PIVOBRANA movement, will offer beer specialities from the portfolio of small craft breweries (members of the Association of Small Independent Breweries of Slovakia). Festival visitors will again have the unique opportunity to taste beer delicacies also from several other Slovak breweries. In addition to the specialities of Urpiner, yeast lager and the new semi-dark IPL 13, you will also be able to try beer specials on tap delivered from the following breweries: Richtár Jakub (Bratislava), Jama Craft Brewery (Chorvátsky Grob), ŽiWell (Pieštany), Wywar (Holíč), Brontvai (Kvačany), Belský pivovar (Belá), and Hostinec (Košice). In this way, Urpiner wants to show all fans of genuine beer that a strong beer culture emerges in Slovakia based on the diversity and variety of beers offered.
