During our festival, the Poetry Café stalls prepared 11,340 coffees. Visitors also had 2,350 servings of organic teas.

27. July 2015

This year, there were four Poetry Cafés opened in cooperation with Julius Meinl — the main café stand was placed opposite the Bažant Stage. Five lever coffee machines produced 11,340 coffees, and the most favourite drinks were milk and coffee specialties Cappucinno and Caffé Latte Macchiato. We also prepared 2,350 organic teas to stimulate or relax our visitors. Green teas were the most popular, of which nearly 500 servings were sold, followed by hot drinks from the Moroccan mint and dried fruit.

The largest stand offered coffee for a poem during the Poetry Hours on Friday and Saturday. Despite the fact that we requested only 2 verses, sometimes even both sides of a smaller paper were not enough and some visitors brough poems on A4 fromat papers! We collected nearly 500 poems in four hours and placed them on the photo wall, so that visitors could read them and take photos with them at any time.
