Matwe’s dad used to organize swing balls in Trenčianske Teplice, which was a significant influence on his Matwe Drappenmadchenfeller alter ego. Matwe himself started out as a violist in the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Trenčín and that’s why he loves jokes about violists. For example: “How does a good violist come into being? You take the worst violinist and infect him with polio.” Matwe is an excellent violist, but even better eccentric dancer. We know that very well as he is one of the members of our core team. To roller skate at his set is a dream come true for every Nepela.
