In early nineties, Lenka Dusilová was first active in the band Sunshine, and later, with David Koller, in the bands Pusa and Lucie. She also cooperated with Čechomor and has released five solo albums since 2000. Besides Lenka Dusilová, the project Baromantika also features four important musicians, Beata Hlavanková, Viliam Béreš, Patrick Kapentski, and Martin Novák. Their acoustic-electronic songs contain jazz influences and elements of the current composition and even dubstep. Their eponymous debut album received great reviews. Ondřej Bezr of iDnes.cz wrote that Lenka had made another step towards the “musical immortality” with this album. It received 90% in the ranking, and the figure was the same for the successor album V hodině smrti. Bezr wrote about it: “Despite the fact that every song stands for itself, sometimes it seems that without the rest of the album, a song would be meaningless. Similar to as if without her music partners, Dusilová would not have found a place where she is obviously doing well and where she belongs”. Lenka Dusilová is coming to perform in this ideal formation and shape also at the 20th edition of Pohoda.
