Hudson Mohawke

The biggest name we published during Pohoda deň_FM is the most successful Scottish producer of the last decade, Hudson Mohawke. In our line-up, he replaced Kaytranada, who is the only cancelled artist so far. Hudson Moawke has cooperated with stars such as Kanye West, Chris Brown, Drake, and Azealia Banks. With the Canadian producer Lunice, they form the duo TNGHT.

At the age of only 15, he became the youngest finalist of the British DMC Mixing Championships. Now he is 29; he released the album Butter and his album Lantern is about to be released (on 16 June 2015). Due to the work on the album, he paused the cooperation with the biggest names of dance music for a while. The Guardian called HudMo one of the biggest producers in the world and the guy that changes the shape of pop music. The producer Mark Ronson called him the future of music and the magazines GQ, Dazed, and DJ Mag we no less admiring, the latter one saying that his ‛kitchen’ contains ingredients from intergalactic psychedelia to fine R&B.
