How to get to Pohoda 2024

How to get to Pohoda 2024

Here is an overview and tips on how to get to Pohoda festival as easily and quickly as possible according to the type of means of transport and form of transport.

10. July 2024

On foot/bike

On foot or by bike you can reach both gates of the festival (GATE O – from Opatovce and GATE B – from Biskupice/Nozdrkovce). Bicycle racks are available at both gates (bicycles, as well as scooters and skateboards, are not allowed on the festival grounds and can only be used by festival staff with special visible signage).

We have a new bicycle service for all those who will use this form of transport and have a valid Pohoda wristband. Your bike will be repaired or adjusted in the bike parking lots at both entrances to the area. Another cycling novelty is YAZDA with Yaksh - you can sign up for the cycling peloton that will set off from Bratislava to Trenčín on Thursday. We will take care of your belongings and suitcases and take them to the airport for free.

Shuttle bus

This year there will also be a shuttle bus from the bus/train station to the airport and back. It will run from Thursday to Sunday. Ticket price is €2, the exact departure times and a list of stops can be found here.

Taxi

The festival cooperates with selected taxi drivers; their cars carry an identifying sticker. Festival taxi stands are only available at GATE B (entrance for pedestrians). Taxis apply fixed contractual rates; price is per ride, not per person. You can find an overview of the prices and contact information of the contracted taxis at this link.

Please note that other taxis, including BOLT, cannot enter the area, the nearest pick-up point is 1.1 km away (15 minutes on foot) at the Coffee Sheep roastery on Biskupicka ul.

Suburban transport

A special suburban bus will run from Trenčianske Teplice directly to the festival site and back. Every day of the festival, the bus will take you to the pedestrian entrance (GATE B). After the program on the main stages, you will be taken from the hospital opposite the main stage. Exact departure times can be found at this link. When you purchase your ticket, which you can buy in our shop, you are guaranteed a seat. You can also use the bus for a one-way trip to or from the festival (the one-way fare is €10 and is payable in cash only to the driver), but only if seating or standing room is available.

Long distance bus/train

Public transportation to the festival gates is also available from more distant locations. Slovak Lines, in cooperation with Pohoda, have prepared a bus service from Bratislava, Piešt'any, Trnava, Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, Prievidza, Nitra, Hlohovec on Thursday and Friday and back from Pohoda on Sunday. You can find the exact dates and departure places here, as well as the possibility to buy a ticket

If you prefer to travel by train, you can buy a ticket for a special trains from Košice and Bratislava (with stops in other cities) on Thursday. On Sunday, these Pohoda trains will transport you back home. Train tickets are available here. You thus have the opportunity to use the most ecological method of transport and at the same time get comfortably to the train station in Trenčín, from where the shuttle bus will take you directly to the airport. You can find the exact departure times of trains from individual cities on this link.

Arrival by car

Pohoda encourages the use of environmentally friendly means of transport, including carpooling. You can find fellow passengers on our webparty under the hashtag #spolunapohodu.

The entrance to the car park is from the municipality of Opatovce (GATE P "parking"). The car park is open non-stop from Thursday 9.00 until Sunday 8:00 PM (last entry is possible on Sunday 8:00 AM). Only cars, motorbikes, and caravans with a valid parking card are allowed to access the car park. Entry by caravan will be possible from Thursday 12:00 noon.
